Comfrey
Comfrey is also called "bone knit" because it contains allantoin, which speeds the healing process. It literally grows like a weed. Just like a women who has found her home, she flourishes, but comfrey simply don't grow in a spot where she's unhappy. The leaves, gresh or dried, as well as the ground root, can be made into a tea. The tea works great as a douche to combat yeast infections. A comfrey compress relieves itchy stitches and keeps prineum tissue soft and pliable while it heals. To make a shooting compress, soak a couple of handfuls of fresh comfrey leaves in four ounces of hot water for ten minutes or longer, or make a paste with the powdered root. Apply the compress directly to your pelvic fllor for up to five minutes. You may also take a comfrey tea sitz bath or make comfrey tea, soak a cotton cloth in it, and apply this to the area. If you are suffering from sore breasts due to engorgement, a hot comfrey compress will soften your breasts and reduce the pain.
