CALL FOR ENTRIES
We are welcoming entries from young groups (age between
16-21), students from IPTs etc, to send in their entries to participate
in a new reality TV programme called DARI SKRIP KE SKRIN (From script
to screen).
We are looking for Eight teams (each team consisting of
at least a production manager/producer, director, writer, cameraman.
Teams can enter artistes, editors, camera crew in the team but prize
money remains constant).
From these 8 teams, after pitching session, proposal
presentation session only three teams will be selected. Their script
will be greenlight as a 30-minute drama albeit with given budget,
policy constraints and obstacles (as in real life).
Please note that (TV station requirements)
team members can only speak in proper Bahasa Melayu on TV or full
English sentences - no mixing of languages. This particular bit is
non-negotiable (haha so much for reality programming)<wbr></wbr>.
Please send in group resume/cv and a one page synopses of why you want to enter the TV or film industry to manjafilms@goowy.<wbr></wbr>com . Closing deadline is January 18th 2007.
Winning team will be given cash, trophy and sponsors prizes.
Object of Series?: To show TV viewers what local TV producers go through in order to produce a TV programme.
Please
note: Selected teams are expected to be 'locked up' for eight to ten'
days during the whole game progress and such location may or may not be
in Klang Valley. Inability for the team members to be in full
attendance at the location within the specified days would mean
immediate disqualification.
So if you think you and your friends have got what it takes to produce for local TV - jump in.
Applications are only accepted in bahasa Melayu and Inggeris.
